• UK-based Spellbound Entertainment has inked a series of new broadcast and distribution deals in Europe for The Koala Brothers. State broadcaster RTP in Portugal has bought all 78 x 10-minute episodes plus the 46-minute Christmas special, while the nation’s children’s channel Canal Panda has also snapped up the entire series and special, which it plans to start airing in October 2008.
• Out of the Blue in conjunction with Decode Entertainment and C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures has launched the first Super WHY!DVD, available exclusively on ShopPBS.org for US$14.99.
