Amityville, New York-based Rogar Studios has named Larry Cohen as its new CEO.
Cohen most recently served as CEO of the late Merv Griffin’s The Griffin Group conglomerate. Rogar Studios’ current CEO and founder Cory Rosenberg, meanwhile, will take the new post of chief creative officer and president of production for the company.
Best known for its Public Television series Sheira & Loli’s Dittydoodle Works, the studio has an ambitious development plan in place, and expects to greenlight several new projects this year.
Prior to joining The Griffin Group, Cohen represented Griffin in the sale of TV hits Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! to the Coca-Cola Company. He subsequently served as a senior executive at Coca-Cola’s Entertainment Group.
