People moves: Echo Bridge ready to Rock

Indie studio Echo Bridge Entertainment has named Bobby Rock to head up its latest acquisition efforts.

Indie studio Echo Bridge Entertainment has named Bobby Rock to head up its latest acquisition efforts.

Rock, a 26-year film industry veteran, most recently headed American Zoetrope’s L.A. offices. He joins another industry vet Leonard Shapiro, who is now a consultant for Echo Bridge Entertainment’s worldwide acquisitions team.

Founded in 2003, Echo Bridge Entertainment is an independent film distribution company that acquires content for sale and distribution throughout the world to theaters, TV networks and stations, home entertainment, cable and VOD. Today the company controls a library of more than 3,600 titles.
