Disney Channel’s dip into the UGC pool garnered nearly 50 million votes with the Cheetah Girls One World: Play Your Part poll.
The poll results will shape certain elements of the upcoming Disney Channel original movie The Cheetah Girls One World, currently filming in Udaipur, India.
From December 31 to February 1, the poll invited kids from around the world to vote in 13 categories, which provided choices for, among other things, the souvenirs that Chanel, Dorinda and Aqua will purchase in India and the Indian dishes they’ll sample in the movie.
Votes were cast on DisneyChannel.com in the US, DisneyChannel.co.uk in the UK; DisneyChannel.au in Australia; DisneyChannel.tv in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, South Africa along with other global portals.
