• Beyond Distribution has acquired the distribution rights for the new teen-focused reality series The Paper. Produced by MTV, the 8 x half-hour series follows the editors of The Circuit, the school newspaper of Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida.
• Comedian Gilbert Gottfried guest stars as Barney Bittman along with David Koechner (‘Anchorman’) as Miley’s Uncle Earl in a new episode of the hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana airing Friday, March 21 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT).
• PBS KIDS is celebrating the Earth with Share the Earth Day, a special programming and online event on Tuesday, April 22. Curious George, Clifford, Arthur and an all-new episode of SUPER WHY will explore fun and engaging ways to keep the planet beautiful. PBS Parents (pbsparents.org) is also offering an Earth Day expert Q&A with Jamie Durie, host of The Victory Garden, discussing how to introduce gardening concepts to kids and what they can learn from digging in the dirt.
