Vancouver, Canada-based Nerd Corps Entertainment’s CGI series Storm Hawks will be hitting GMTV’s airwaves in the UK this month.

The 52 x half-hour eps will air each weekday morning on the net’s Action Stations block and simulcast on CITV.

The comedy-action series already airs more than 25 times a week on Cartoon Network UK, where it launched in August 2007.

As well as GMTV, the series is slated to launch in more than 50 more countries this year, and is currently broadcast by Cartoon Network in the US, France, Eastern Europe and Latin America, and has spots on YTV and VRAK in Canada.

Master toy partner Spin Master kicked off the show’s retail roll out in the UK in February, launching the toy line at Toys ‘R’ Us, supported by an extensive TV ad campaign.
