World Wrestling Entertainment is set to roll out WWE Kids, a new consumer magazine targeting six- to 14-year-olds. The bi-monthly title launches April 15 and will be supported with a comprehensive cross-platform blitz, including a 100,000-unit pallet promotion at Wal-Mart stores across the US.

• Distributor Enjoy, together with Agogo and Cartoon One, has sold the 52 x 13-minute Buttercup Wood to Aljazeera Children's Channel.

• In its UK free-TV premier on BBC One on Friday, March 21 High School Musical 2, ranked #1 in its timeslot with both kids four years old and over and kids age four to 15 across all UK homes. The movie scored a 8.9 rating with kids age four to 15.

• Rome, Italy-based Cartoon One, the independent producer & distributor of kids' series, has been awarded the Pulcinella Award at Cartoons On The Bay for the best Italian Animation Studio of 2008.
