Disney Consumer Products has rolled out a wide range of consumer products to tie in with the June 19 theatrical release of Inside Out, the latest animated comedy-adventure pic to come out of Disney Pixar.
Directed by Oscar-winner Pete Docter (Up, Monsters, Inc) and featuring Saturday Night Live alums Bill Hader and Amy Poehler, the film is about an 11-year-old girl whose emotions, HQ’d all together in her brain, are plunged into chaos when she’s uprooted to move to a new home.
A product assortment bringing to life the various emotions featured in the film—joy, sadness, anger, disgust, fear—from top-tier licensees including Tomy, Freeze, Mighty Fine, KIDdesigns, UGG, Jay Franco, Random House and Chronicle Books is now available at US retail, Disney Store and DisneyStore.com.
On the toy front, master toy partner Tomy has created light-up figures (US$8.99) and an Inside Out headquarters playset (US$39.99), and Disney Store is offering light-up deluxe talking dolls (US$19.95, pictured) and a Tsum Tsum collection (US$4.95).
