JimJam ships out to the Middle East

Preschool net JimJam, a joint-venture operation between Chello Zone and HIT Entertainment, has launched in the Middle East on the back of a carriage deal with Showtime.

Preschool net JimJam, a joint-venture operation between Chello Zone and HIT Entertainment, has launched in the Middle East on the back of a carriage deal with Showtime. The channel will air 12 hours a day across the Middle East and North Africa, featuring classic series including Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder and Barney & Friends dubbed into Arabic. This versioned JimJam offering targets one- to six-year-olds and will also feature English-language educational bits.
