The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association will honor CopCorp Licensing with a 2008 Merit Award for its work with Jim Benton’s It’s Happy Bunny property on a statewide anti-drug campaign.

The Drug-Free Bunny public service campaign supporting the Partnership for a Drug Free Texas launched in 2007. The campaign’s success has already led to its adoption in Washington State as well as garnering interest from other states.

As part of the campaign, the PDFT printed ‘Drug-Free Bunny’ stickers and posters. And a limited run of t-shirts proved so popular that licensee Blackjack now has ‘Drug-Free Bunny’ tees available online.

CopCorp president Carole Postale will be on hand to receive the The Merit award at the LIMA Awards Gala taking place on June 11 in New York City.
