• Today, Nickelodeon launches The Big Green Help, the net's new multiplatform pro-social campaign designed to empower kids to participate in earth-friendly and energy-saving daily activities. Nickelodeon is kicking things off by airing green-themed messages and promotional spots throughout every programming break all day long, and launching a series of original, environmentally themed online games.

Lionsgate is releasing HIT Entertainment's Fireman Sam: To the Rescue on DVD for first time ever in the US on July 1, 2008. The series originally launched in the UK and made its US debut on PBS KIDS Sprout in October 2006, and continues to air daily. The only firefighter-themed children's show, it also can be seen in more than 150 territories around the world in 25 different languages.
