Turner Entertainment Networks Asia has appointed Jeremy Carr as VP of regional entertainment advertising sales, filling a position vacated by Soumitra Saha, who is now the head of TENA.

Turner Entertainment Networks Asia has appointed Jeremy Carr as VP of regional entertainment advertising sales, filling a position vacated by Soumitra Saha, who is now the head of TENA.

Based in Hong Kong, Carr will directly oversee TV and interactive advertising sales for the properties that TENA reps across 11 offices, with particular focus on South Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

Carr is responsible for 13 channels, including Cartoon Network India, Australia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Pakistan and South East Asia; POGO in India; and Boomerang Australia and Southeast Asia.

Carr has spent 16 years combined in broadcast and digital media sales and will now drive the net’s sponsorship and promotions team.

Prior to his appointment, Carr was partner and director at International Media Representation Company, managing blue-chip international media groups for Australia and New Zealand.
