Vancouver, Canada-based Studio B Productions has inked deals with three Canadian nets for its Martha Speaks series.

Pubnet TVO, the Knowledge Network and SCN will begin airing the 40 half-hour eps of the series this fall.

The toon has already been scheduled to launch in the US on PBS Kids for fall 2008.

Martha Speaks is a co-pro with WGBH Boston and is based on the children’s book series by Susan Meddaugh published by Houghton Mifflin.

The series follows the adventures of Martha, a dog whose appetite for alphabet soup gives her the gift of human speech.
