CGI-animated preschool series Trucktown, from Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana, is set to roll into Germany later this year courtesy of SUPER RTL.

Set to air on the German broadcaster’s preschool block, Trucktown follows the adventures of Jack Truck and best friends Dump Truck Dan and Max the Monster Truck, as they smash their way through Trucktown.

The series made its global debut on Corus Entertainment’s preschool channel Treehouse last September, ranking as the channel’s #1 show during its debut month. This past February, the series also kicked off on France 5’s preschool block ZouZous.

The rough-and-tumble show is based on a series of books by children’s author Jon Scieszka (The Stinky Cheese Man and other Fairly Stupid Tales, The Time Warp Trio, Spaceheadz) and published by Simon & Schuster, with over 50 titles produced and more than one million books sold worldwide.
