Looks like Nickelodeon Latin American is taking a turn down the yellow brick road with Illusion Studios to co-produce La Maga y el Camino Dorado, a series based on The Wizard of Oz.
La Maga el Camino Dorado will combine reality and fantasy combine to create the mythical land over the rainbow via a mix of live action and CGI. In addition, each ep will feature a musical number. Dori Media Group is distributing the show outside the territory with production getting underway in Buenos Aires next month.
