Disney inks Canal + deal

Disney-ABC International Television and French TV platform Canal + have put the finishing touches on a new multi-year, multi-window content agreement.

The deal will bring a selection of current and forthcoming movie and series to viewers via VOD, pay per view and pay-TV platforms.

Under the agreement, Canal + will have access to upcoming movies from Walt Disney Pictures, Disney/Pixar, Touchstone Pictures and Miramax Films, including kids fare like the Academy Award nominated Enchanted.

The content will start to roll out on Canal +in the coming weeks.
