RDF Media Group stays steady in turbulent year

After a difficult year impacted by a harmful gaffe centering around the release of a trailer suggesting the queen had stormed out of a photo shoot, RDF Media Group seems to have come out of the scandal in decent shape.

After a difficult year impacted by a harmful gaffe centering around the release of a trailer suggesting the queen had stormed out of a photo shoot, RDF Media Group seems to have come out of the scandal in decent shape. The company is reporting fiscal revenue of US$237 million, up 21.5% from last year. And gross profit grew by 16% to US$70 million.

The US production arm, a new investment that now contributes 21.5% of the company’s revenues, saw its gross profit increase by 104.4%. And on its home turf, RDF is in the midst of producing 100 eps of Way to Blue, a preschool series commissioned by CBeebies for broadcast in 2009.
