Seventy-five preschools throughout the US, including 42 states and Washington DC, have been selected as winners of the Wuzzleburg Preschool Garden Awards.
Created and sponsored by the National Gardening Association in partnership with Wow! Wow! Wubbzy producers Bolder Media and Starz Media, the competition received a total of 1,035 applications.
Winners were comprised of preschool or day care center entrants that submitted their plan for a garden to be planted and tended by a group of at least 10 children ages three to five during 2008.
The 75 winners will receive a grant from NGA’s Gardening with Kids Store, valued at US$1,000.
