Disney Channel has inked a deal with cinema advertiser Screenvision to help promote the cable network’s upcoming original movie Camp Rock, starring the Jonas Brothers that premieres on June 20.

Through the deal, a 30-second spot for the TV movie will run in Screenvision’s Premium Pod, an ad placement right before previews appear on more than 14,000 screens across the US.

The ads will run prior to showings of Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and Kung Fu Panda among other G and PG rated films.

The deal marks Disney Channel’s first foray into in-theater advertising.
