Montreal, Canada-based Toon Boom Animation and educational publisher FableVision are ready to release Animation-Ish, a software program that allows people of all ages to unleash their inner animator through DIY animation.

Montreal, Canada-based Toon Boom Animation and educational publisher FableVision are ready to release Animation-Ish, a software program that allows people of all ages to unleash their inner animator through DIY animation.

The program features more than 50 video clips with New York Times Bestselling children’s author Peter H. Reynolds, three animation skill levels, 24 lessons written by teachers for teachers and a share function for exporting work to multiple formats.

Running on Mac and PC platforms, Animation-ish is offered in retail and educational versions. Single-use copies ring in at US$59.95, while the Educational version, which includes a printed Classroom Edition User’s Guide, costs US$499.95 for a 10-computer license or US$999.95 for a 25-computer license.
