Cake serves up slices of Total Drama around the globe

On the heels of announcing a deal with Cartoon Network US for Fresh TV's Total Drama Island, Cake Distribution has secured global placement for the 26 x 22-minute toon reality show with the kids net.

On the heels of announcing a deal with Cartoon Network US for Fresh TV’s Total Drama Island, Cake Distribution has secured global placement for the 26 x 22-minute toon reality show with the kids net.

Along with CN US, Cartoon Latin America, Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa have picked up the series. While the show is slated to bow at 9 p.m. tomorrow on CN US, TDI will enjoy a simultaneous launch across CN Europe on September 5, with its Latin American debut following in October.

In addition to the series, CN Europe and US have bought TDI’s website. Kid fans will be encouraged to visit the site to earn points while playing its proprietary games. The more they play, the more points they accrue and the user that earns the most points will be featured, in animated form, on the last TDI ep of the season.
