New Garfield to air on Cartoon Network

Turner Broadcasting has acquired the new CGI series featuring lasagna-loving fat cat Garfield from French producer Dargaud Media.

The 52 x 11-minute HD series The Garfield Show will bow on Cartoon Network nets in 2009.

The series is timed to coincide with Garfield’s 30th anniversary and will air in territories across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
