V-me, the US-based Hispanic TV network, has inked a multi-platform partnership with Iceland’s LazyTown Entertainment.

Starting in October, V-me will be the exclusive US Hispanic broadcaster of LazyTown, the pro-health, high-energy series combining live-action, CGI and puppetry, that’s now broadcast in more than 118 countries.

In the next few months, V-me plans to roll out a LazyTown campaign with local events, touring shows, publications and an outreach program.

As part of the deal, LazyTown Entertainment is moving its US operations into V-me’s New York headquarters.

V-me is stripping LazyTown twice daily on its morning preschool block, with a special family-time-slot on weekend evenings. PSA’s and short-form content are also in the works.
