The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) has elected new members to its board of directors, and has named Bernie Leifer as chairman.

Leifer, of SG Footwear, begins his two-year term as Chairman, with Christina Miller of Cartoon Network as vice chairperson. Also, David Jacobs of HiHat Media was elected to a one-year term as the designee to the executive committee and will also serve as treasurer.

An additional seven members were also elected to LIMA’s board: Adam J. Beder of Spin Master, Rick Mallow of Elmer’s Products, Maura Regan of Sesame Workshop, Stu Seltzer of Marketing on Demand, Holly Stein of Mattel, Robert Strand of Jarden Outdoor Solutions, and Careen Yapp of Konami Digital Entertainment. Their terms will run from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011.
