American Greetings Properties has promoted Carla Silva from director of international licensing to VP of international licensing.
AS VP, Silva will oversee international outbound licensing for the company whose key IP includes Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Sushi Pack and Madballs.
Before joining AGP in 2007, Silva spent 13 years at United Media, where she worked in both international publishing and advertising and licensing development, and was promoted numerous times in various capacities. She most recently served as international licensing director, managing more than 150 international clients for properties including Peanuts, Dilbert and Precious Moments.
