Cartoon Network has teamed up with the UK-based learning disability charity, Mencap, to support literacy through its annual spelling competition, Spellathon.
By recruiting Ben, from Cartoon Network’s Ben 10, to back the competition, Mencap is hoping to boost participation in the events, now in their 15th year.
Cartoon Network will promote the Spellathons in the nation’s public schools by utilizing Ben 10 and other characters from the series for in-school contests and signage.
