Toronto, Canada-based Blueprint Entertainment has received the greenlight from Canadian tooncaster Teletoon for 26 half-hours of the live-action tween comedy Go-Girl.
The production represents the first Teletoon original production executed as a live-action/animation hybrid.
The series begins filming this fall and is slated to go to air in fall 2009. Blueprint’s Oasis International is distributing the series worldwide.
Go-Girl tells the story of a town that elects 15-year-old Becky Smith as mayor.
