Families across the US should start warming up their pipes and their Wiis. Konami Digital Entertainment and FremantleMedia are readying Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore 2 for a fall launch on Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles.

The game will be released for the holiday season this year and will allow two players to sing and perform through a full season of competition. Digital versions of Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell will be on hand to judge players as they trill through 40 songs and several modes of play.
