The Associated Musicians of Greater New York, Local 802 AFM has filed an unfair labor charged against Little Airplane Productions, alleging the prodco illegally replaced musicians working on hit preschool series The Wonder Pets!.

The union contends that negotiations to settle a collective bargaining agreement between its members and Little Airplane broke down earlier this month and as of July 23, Little Airplane indicated that it would employ New York musicians solely on a contract-basis provided there was no union agreement in place, contravening state labor laws.

Little Airplane could not be reached for comment before press time.
