UK licensing agent Target Entertainment has signed an exclusive direct-to-retail apparel deal with Woolworths that will see fashion items based on boys action property Storm Hawks in-store by year’s end.

The UK chain is launching a range of items based on Nerd Corps’ in November, including apparel, nightwear, underwear, dress up, accessories and hosiery.

Some products will be manufactured by Woolworths and others will be developed by other licensees.

The ranges will be available in the retailer’s top 243 stores and further SKUs will be added through 2009. The deal becomes non-exclusive in 2009.

Storm Hawks returns to CITV/GMTV airwaves on September 8, airing as part of the Action Stations block (CITV channel and ITV4) at 8a.m. every weekday.
