WowWee, designer of toy/consumer electronic hybrid robots, has acquired the assets and business of Pleasant Grove, Utah’s Think Tank Toys.

Think Tank Toys develops, manufactures and markets plush toys, novelty items, action figures and promotional toys, including those based on third-party licensed characters and properties such as Disney’s Hannah Montana, High School Musical and Camp Rock, Mister Men and MEG’s In My Pocket line.

The integration of the two businesses will give WowWee an avenue into lower-priced merchandise and new distribution channels. Think Tank Toys will be able to capitalize on Wow Wee’s technology, operational organization and worldwide distribution network.
