Kidtoons is busy lining up partners

The Kidtoons in-theatre program has signed L.A.-based My Gym to become its first sponsor.

The partnership between the two companies began in January 2008 as a promotional relationship. My Gym will now provide screen sponsorship for the program and will continue to provide its patrons with in-store handouts, including movie theatre discounts.

My Gym Enterprises hosts more than 3.5 million children a year in more than 200 locations worldwide.

Additionally, Kidtoons and Disney Channel have inked a partnership to promote the new Disney series Imagination Movers.

As part of the promotion, participating movie theatres will give away branded tambourines and DVD samplers at the September events.

Imagination Movers premieres on Disney Channel on September 6.
