Germany-based m4e is pleased with its first foray into the world of feature film distribution with Rainbow’s Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom.

The film, based on the series Winx Club, broadcast on Nickelodeon Germany, bowed in 331 movie theaters throughout the country last week. Including previews, 84,000 kids and parents snapped up tickets to the film registered on the first weekend of its release.

The subsequent DVD and televison marketing of the film in 2009 will also be handled directly by m4e.
