Edison, New Jersey-based video game company Majesco Entertainment’s net revenues increased 44% to US$14.5 million for Q3 this year, according to financial results released by the company late yesterday.

During the same period, the company reported an operating income of US$300,000, compared to an operating loss of US$1.3 million during the same period last year.

For the nine months ended July 31, 2008, Majesco’s net revenues increased 17% to US$46 million over the same period last year.

According to Jesse Sutton, CEO, the growth is primarily attributable to the 87% increase in domestic sales driven by the Cooking Mama franchise and the Wonderworld Amusement Park franchise for Wii.

Due to the strong performance, the company has raised its fiscal year revenue projection from US$58 million to US$60 million
