Chapman and Weta bring Trooper Tom to Cannes

Chapman Entertainment and co-pro partner Weta Workshop will unveil their new animated action-adventure series Trooper Tom (working title) at Mipcom Jr. in Cannes next month.

Chapman Entertainment and co-pro partner Weta Workshop will unveil their new animated action-adventure series Trooper Tom (working title) at Mipcom Jr. in Cannes next month.

The sci-fi 26 x 22-minute toon features half-robot, half-man Tom who is something of a futuristic Pinocchio.

Academy Award winning Weta Workshop has previously supplied special effects for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong and The Chronicles of Narnia.
