Disney Channel Spain has announced its new fall lineup on the heels of its July 1 launch on Digital Terrestrial Television.

The new season kicks off with Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock on Saturday, September 20. Other highlights for the season include The Cheetah Girls One World, Disney Channel Games 2008 and new eps of Hannah Montana, The Wizards of Waverly Place and Phineas and Ferb.

According to TNS, 39% of Spanish kids aged four to 12 tuned into Disney Channel in August, and its programming reached more than 22% of the total population. Since July 1, Disney Channel has achieved an average share of 9.3% of kids aged four to 12, and 1.4% all individuals in multichannel homes.

Disney Channel Spain’s website has also seen a surge in popularity, attracting 1.1 million unique users in August alone.

Until Disney Channel launched on DTT, it was available exclusively via pay-services. The channel is now available in more than half of Spanish homes, reaching more than eight million families.
