In step with the customizable toy trend, Outfit7 is bringing popular characters from its Talking Tom and Friends brand to 3D printing, inking a licensing agreement with Toyze and its 3D printing app.
The Toyze app lets users create and customize game characters, which are then 3D printed and shipped right to their front door. Using the app, kids will be able to create their own Talking Tom and Friends 3D models. First up is Talking Tom, now available on Toyze’s Google Play app and on the Apple App Store.
Over the past four years, Outfit7 has grown the Talking Tom and Friends brand from a popular mobile app into an entertainment franchise. With more than 230 million monthly users, its suite of apps surpassed two billion downloads last month. The franchise also includes an upcoming CGI animated series, and a just-announced feature film.
Toyze is the latest addition to its global L&M portfolio. Outfit7 also announced plans to bring Talking Tom licensed merch to India. The company is partnering with Dream Theatre to roll out consumer products (apparel, sleepwear, kidswear, accessories, back to school, bags, games and puzzles) in the region.
