Little Airplane Productions has launched Little Airplane Films, a new division that will create and produce family animated and live-action feature films for theatrical release.

Tom Brown, current head of production at the studio, will steer the new endeavor.

Little Airplane Productions was founded in 1999 and is best known for its work in preschool TV, including Oobie, The Wonder Pets! and new CBeebies series 3rd & Bird.
