CiTV and ITV1 pick up Pat & Stan

Munich, Germany-based TV-Loonland has licensed its multiplatform toon comedy Pat & Stan to British net CiTV as well as selected shorts to ITV1.

Munich, Germany-based TV-Loonland has licensed its multiplatform toon comedy Pat & Stan to British net CiTV as well as selected shorts to ITV1.

ITV-owned CiTV has acquired UK broadcast and online rights for the all available formats featuring the comic duo, including 350 shorts, a half-hour special as well as the new 39 x seven minute series set for delivery in Spring 2009. The short formats will begin popping up on CiTV’s website before Christmas.

Pat & Stan is a co-pro between French animation producer MacGuff, broadcaster TF1 and TV-Loonland and has so far been sold into more than 80 territories.
