Toronto, Canada-based 24-hour toon net Teletoon has become the home of Marvel Animation in Canada.
Beginning in Spring 2009, a slate of Marvel animated series will air on Teletoon nets in both English and French.
The agreement calls for Marvel to deliver a minimum of 182 eps of first-run animation for broadcast and includes rights for additional platforms including broadband, VOD, mobile and other online opps.
First-run shows based on Marvel characters like Iron Man, The Avengers and Wolverine will air on the net in the prime Sunday morning action block and be stripped after school in the weekday schedule.
