Outfit7 has partnered with Britain’s SuperAwesome to be the exclusive sponsor of the upcoming Future8 Awards‘ mobile app category.
The Future8 Awards was launched as a partnership between UK news 0rg The Guardian and children’s marketing platform SuperAwesome. The objective is to find talented seven- to 17-year-old digital creators—be it for games, music, video or web development— throughout the UK and Ireland. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on October 11.
Among the judges for the Mobile App Award are Outfit7 deputy CEO and co-founder Iza Login; Shannon Cullen, publisher at Puffin, Penguin Random House UK; Jo Scalpello, head of partnerships at Blinkbox; and Eric Huang, head of development at Made in Me.
The winner will be flown to Outfit7’s hub in Ljubljana, Slovenia, to experience all the stages of app development—from insight, concepts and artwork, to testing and marketing.
Outfit7 made its mark in mobile entertainment when its Talking Tom and Friends brand became the fastest app series to reach 300 million downloads in 19 months from launch. The apps have since garnered more than 1.7 billion downloads and maintain 230 million active users.
