As Kidz Bop seeks to expand its children’s music brand, the company has tapped former Classic Media brand manager John Fraser to take on a VP of sales and marketing position.

In his former gig, Fraser managed a diverse portfolio of kids/family brands in the Classic library, from George of the Jungle to Gumby. Before that, he did a stint at Marvel Entertainment, where he served as SVP of advertising sales, promotions and brand management.

Working out of Kidz Bop’s New York HQ, Fraser will be working on a strategy to develop the music brand across all media platforms, including audio and consumer products, web, live events, brand extensions, strategic partnerships and licensees. He’ll also work closely with on-air and online teams to create customized, branded content relationships.
