Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are joining the ranks of John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and Abraham Lincoln on US Postage Stamps.
Springfield’s famous yellow family will be commemorated on 44-cent First-Class Mail stamps this year – just as Twentieth Century Fox L&M celebrate the property’s 20th anniversary.
But fans will have to wait until April 7 to get a sneak peek at the stamps on the US Postal Service site (www.usps.com), when the USPS will also announce the date of sale and pre-ordering details.
USPS receives about 50,000 stamp suggestions each year, with only roughly 20 topics making the cut.
