DHX Media-owned licensing agency CPLG has been appointed to rep DHX’s preschool property In the Night Garden across the UK, and numerous new licensing deals have been secured for the IP in the UK and Australia.

In the UK, licensees signing on include Inspiration Works (eBooks), VMC (dress-up items and winter accessories), Ravensburger (boxed and floor puzzles), Worlds Apart (beds, play tents and inflatable seating), Dreamtex (bedding, towels and facecloths), Trademark Collections (bags and backpacks) and Century Books (an annual with i-tech index cards).

In Australia, Jasnor Toys has been named master toy partner and ABC Roadshow Entertainment will produce DVDs.

Penguin Children’s Books’ existing license to produce print books in the UK and Australia has also been renewed by DHX.

Since debuting on CBeebies in 2007, the program has been a ratings success, airing in 36 countries and expanding as a property into a wide range of brand extensions including its recent attraction at the new CBeebies Land theme park at UK-based Alton Towers Resort.

DHX Media has recently renewed the show’s license with CBeebies through spring 2021.
