It looks like HIT Entertainment has a host of new projects coming down the pipe.

CGI animated Mike the Knight (52 x 10 minutes) from Lunar Jim creator Alexander Bar is first on-deck. The humorous preschool series focuses on 10-year-old Mike, whose ‘Be a Knight, do it right’ motto gives him the motivation to protect his kingdom. With dragons and magic, the series encourages kids to give it their all.

HIT has also begun development on another new CG-animated preschool show The Real Mees (52 x 10) with Waybuloo creator Dan Good, which centers on themes of confidence, self belief and citizenship. It focuses on the main characters as they emerge from cocoons to turn into adorable, quirky personalities. Also involved in the project is the creative team at UK-based prodco Absolutely Cuckoo.

And further down the pipeline is 2-D comedic Kids Hate Clowns (52 x 13 minutes) from Firestep & Impossible Pictures, targeting the eight to 12 set. Proper 13-year-old Chloe gets her world turned upside down when three distant clown relatives show up out of the blue and move in with her!
