UK-based licensee Poeticgem is developing a new ladies apparel range based upon the iconic Miffy preschool IP.

Created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna in 1955, Miffy is the little rabbit whose publishing program has been translated into 40 languages and sold more than 85 million copies worldwide. Miffy has also been the subject of TV series, movies, an apparel line that stretches across all age ranges and a licensing program that has seen the character appear on millions of products.

Poeticgem, know for its innovative designs that utilize augmented reality technology, will be working on a new clothing range for women that will capture Miffy’s huge appeal and tap into adult nostalgia for the brand.
