Toronto-based toyco Spin Master is looking to extend its Tenkai Knights brand with a number of new US licensing deals and consumer products initiatives.

Currently, the company has completed licensing agreements with  Accessory Innovations (backpacks, bags, cold weather accessories), Bentex (sleepwear), Franco (bedding, accessories, beach and bath),  Freeze (T-shirts, hoodies) and Penguin Group (publishing).

As well, Spin Master has developed a sampling program integrated into Santa’s Village at Simon mall locations throughout the US. Over 75,000 kids this holiday season will experience the shape-shifting IP  for themselves.

The Tenkai Knights TV series, which airs new episodes Saturday mornings on Cartoon Network, with additional airings on Fridays and Sundays, is a unique US and Japanese co-pro. The Spin Master Entertainment team worked hand in hand with the production company, Shogakukan-Shueisha (ShoPro)  to create the animated series.

All licensing brand extensions will be available August, 2014.
