Indie global distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment has brought on Sonia Mehandjiyska as VP of international sales, Eastern Europe to oversee efforts in that territory.
Reporting to EVP Dan March, Mehandjiyska is the fourth senior sales exec appointment this year and she’ll be responsible for the company’s TV and film sales activities in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Kosovo and Turkey.
Before joining Echo Bridge, Mehandjiyska was director of international sales at MRG, where she repped programming from the company’s two distribution subsidiaries, Lightning Entertainment and Mainline Releasing.
