Twentieth Century Fox has signed on to release Blue Sky Studios’ latest 3-D animated feature film Rio on April 8, 2011.
From director Carlos Saldanha, who also directed Ice Age: The Meltdown, Rio follows a nerdy macaw that takes an adventurous journey from his cage in small-town Minnesota to Rio de Janeiro.
