FremantleMedia Enterprises has named Keith Hindle to take on the newly created role of CEO for the Americas as the company implements a more regional focus.

Hindle will be responsible for developing and implementing strategy for FME’s Americas’ businesses, including operations in the US, Canada, Brazil, LatAm and the Caribbean. He’ll report directly to global CEO David Ellender and work to increase FME’s position within distribution and development in the region.

Fremantle’s former EVP of licensing for the Americas supervised the branded entertainment, interactive, consumer products and live entertainment activities of its brands for the region before getting bumped up to his new post. He and his team also helped grow the company’s online and telephony activities.

FME will soon announce other regional CEOs for EMEA and Asia Pacific.
